Extensive groundworks for boat-building facility, Poole.
Contract included:
- Earthworks and site preparation
- Cast insitu reinforced concrete foundations
- Reinforced concrete ground floor & upper floor slabs
- Installation of holding down bolts for columns up to 1m x 0.5m sections
- 7,000m² heavy duty block paving
- External works
- Hard landscaping
- Intricate-shaped curved casted insitu walls
- 10,000m³ of sand moved to raise the level
- Installation of drainage, including an interceptor tank, approx. 5m deep
- Excavation in the tidal zone
