Project Summary
Scope of work:
Reconstruction of existing crane rail and replacement of drainage.
Contract included:
- Removal of 501m of existing bar drainage and replacement with new cast insitu slot drainage
- Supply and installation of a new class 1 bypass interceptor with new penstocks and quay outfall
- Removal of 375m of existing crane rail and existing timbers/fixings.
- Construct a new concrete foundation and refix the existing rail with new sole plates and fixings, and reinstate rubber crumb surfacing
- Working within a live container terminal. Working closely with port operations to accommodate ship movements
