Scope of work:
Removal of existing rock and timber defences and the construction of new timber groynes, wave wall, rock revetment and associated works.
Supply and delivery to beach of 14,500t of 5-8t and 3-6t Norwegian armour stone for new revetment.
Tranship rock to barge and then to beach. Transport from quayside in Southampton Docks to Selsey Bill in 500t loads, using 50m rock barge and tug combination.
Using our 50t excavator handling the rock onboard for delivery at high tide.
