Project Summary
Scope of work:
Sheet piling and river defences along 400m frontage of River Itchen. Removal of existing timber river wall. Supply and drive 687t of 10m long PU28 steel sheet piles with Movax SG-75V side grip, on one of our Doosan 380 excavators.
Insitu concrete, precast capping beams and 600m paving and footpath. 650t rock revetment, 400t imported Type 1 fill, 67 no. flap valves. Unexploded ordnance surveys and archaeological watching brief. Including muck away and landscaping.
