Project Summary
Scope of work:
Revetment to protect residential development on the south side of Southampton Water. Tidal operations with restricted access and working area. Close liaison with Client and local residents. Removal of existing failed rock revetment, reprofile slope, re-use of materials, excavation and construction of rock toe and drainage. Supply, transfer from ship to barge, delivery and placement of 14,000t of rock armour from Norway to construct 400 linear metres of slope protection. Rock size 0.3-1t to form new revetment on geotextile membrane.
