Scope of work:
Construction of a car park of 2,700 sqm, a link road and a “park & stride” facility of 4,400 sqm.
Contract included:
- Associated drainage works
- Placing of specialist Breedon gravel surfacing
- Alterations to the existing car park
- Close liaison with the University Estates Department
- Value engineering/innovative approach/recycling of construction materials to reduce lorry movements
- Associated lighting scheme
- Installation of fencing to the client’s requirements
- Considerate working around live campus buildings
